RESUMEN
En este trabajo se presenta una síntesis del estudio y análisis de los aspectos geomorfológicos, biogeográficos y de usos del suelo de las altas vertientes y valles septentrionales del macizo de Nevero (2.209 m), Sierra de Guadarrama, (Sistema Central Ibérico), como componentes principales en la configuración de sus paisajes naturales. Utilizando metodologías multiescalares y jerárquicas, su objetivo es el análisis de los elementos del medio físico para detectar áreas de mayor homogeneidad, con uno o varios componentes dominantes que permitan delimitar y cartografiar unidades de paisaje natural. Finalmente se exponen los resultados obtenidos para el análisis de los paisajes naturales de la vertiente septentrional del macizo de Nevero, definida como Unidad Superior de Paisaje Natural (USPN) y como ésta se organiza a su vez en tres Unidades Medias de Paisaje Natural (UMPN).

ABSTRACT:
This work present a synthesis of the study and analysis of the geomorphological, biogeographical and land use features of the northern high slopes and valleys of the Nevero massif (2.209 m), Sierra de Guadarrama, (Iberian Central Range), as main components in the configuration of its natural landscapes is carried out. Using multiscale and hierarchical methodologies, it aims to explore the analysis of the physical environment elements to detect areas of greater homogeneity, with one or several dominant components that allow to delimit and map natural landscape units. Finally, the results obtained for the analysis of the natural landscapes corresponding to the northern slope of the Nevero massif, defined as a Superior Natural Landscape Unit (SNLU) and how it is organized in three Medium Natural Landscape Unit (MNLU) are showed.
